📍SAVE FOR LATER ⭐️ one of the ways I crea 📍SAVE FOR LATER

⭐️ one of the ways I created a budgeting habit that finally stuck was by being able to access- and update!!- my plan anywhere.

⭐️I use Google Sheets to make my budget (this doesn’t need to be complicated, it can even just add up your income in one column and your expenses in a second column). I usually update it on my laptop, but I can quickly update it on my phone too as I spend money and need to track it.

⭐️I have lots of budget templates for Google Sheets and Excel all ready to go for you at the link in my bio! All you need to do is follow along and you’ll have a budget that checks all the boxes you need it to!
I love doing what I LOVE ❤️ feels like a dream I love doing what I LOVE ❤️ feels like a dream!!! 😭 starting to budget changed so much for me- with the biggest impact being it got me out of debt way faster than I ever thought possible (paid off my student loans before I turned 30!). It’s so cool to help others do the same 😍

And I started with my emergency fund! When I was And I started with my emergency fund!

When I was just saving money for anything and everything, I really didn’t have a reason to keep money in savings.

It was EASY to just take money out for something else.

Once I focused on saving up for my first emergency fund- $1000- I wanted to see that $1000 in there so badly, I thought twice before withdrawing funds!

By focusing on just one goal for my savings at a time, I was much less overwhelmed and felt like I could stick to it 🥳

✨What helps you to keep money in your savings? Let me know what you do!
For the first time ever, I want to try using cash For the first time ever, I want to try using cash envelopes to stay in better control of my spending 🤔

I’m still a digital girl, though, so I’ll be tracking them in a spreadsheet 😂

I’ve been focusing hard on saving up for my first home, and I wanna keep a better eye on my spending!

I dunno about you, but my spending has felt a little out of control this summer. Which is fine- I’m all about enjoying my money!- but I’m super excited to save up for a home 🏡 (I’m 29 and would like to have a down payment before I’m 35)

Before I try, I wanna know…

Do you use cash envelopes? Why do they work for you?

Or if you don’t like them…why not?

PS. If you have any recommendations for a cash envelope seller, tag them below- I’d love to support them ❤️
